Classic Helmet Recall Notice (USA & Canada)

On September 1, 2016, SAHN voluntarily recalled Classic helmets sold to customers in USA and Canada manufactured between 2013 and 2015.

While no incidents or injuries have been reported, there were inconsistent failing results on the helmet during our regular testing for US certification. We worked relentlessly to identify the underlying cause for these results and collaborated with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada to provide the remedy.

Please read the information below to see if you are affected by this recall. If you are affected, we ask that you stop using your helmet immediately and register for a product replacement.

Am I affected by thiS recall?

You are affected by this recall if the following statements are true:

  1. You reside in USA or Canada.
  2. You currently own a SAHN helmet with a manufacture date between 2013 and 2015.

You can locate the manufacture date of your helmet by looking at the size label inside it. The size label looks like the following sample:

The manufacture month is represented by the yellow circled numbers above. If the last 4 digits of the numbers are 2013, 2014, or 2015, your helmet is affected.
